I am really glad you enjoyed yesterday’s Raw Vegan Sugar Cookie Dough Balls! Such an easy recipe, tastes just like the real thing, without the pound of butter and heavy flour action. Today I thought I’d show you the stash that Kay’s Naturals sent me Their new Protein Cookie Bites. 110 Calories Per Serving. That’s what a serving looks like. And their Protein Chips & Protein Cereal And since they have tons of Gluten Free products which is awesome for me, the Cinnamon Toast Pretzel Sticks are looking good! Thanks, Kay’s Naturals and I will give more in depth reviews as I munch up all these snackies! Next Product Stash is some Healthy Chocolate from Xocai A little info From their site: “1. NUGGET. Decadent! One of these nuggets is equal in antioxidant value to a 1/2 pound of raw spinach. 2. XOBIOTIC square. Smooth and creamy! These squares offer a far superior PROBIOTIC delivery system than dairy. 3. XPOWER square. Intense dark chocolate for the connoisseur! Loaded with health promoting antioxidants. 4. OMEGA-3 square. Dark chocolate with intense Florida orange flavor! Daily value of omega-3 essential fatty acids.” And a healthy version of a Red Bull “Xe ENERGY DRINK: The proprietary Xe Healthy Energy blend exploits the natural properties of plant extracts and fruit juices to release energy over an extended period of time for a lasting and healthier boost without the negative effects of elevated quantities of refined sugar and caffeine.” Love the looks of that! Cool info about Xocai For more info see www.chocolatebenefitsu.com And then I gave my little sick Princess some Amazing Grass Kidz SuperFood. I figured she could use all the superpowers superfoods out there to shake her cold. After all those products, it was time to eat! Green Rabbit Food included kale… …with Brussels’s, Cauli, Tomatoes and an extra luscious flooding serving of my Homemade Vegan Slaw Dressing There was also a plate of mixed greens, carrots, tomatoes, cukes & zukes… that I dressed with my Holiday Orange Spice Vinaigrette Recipe Dessert was a fresh batch of my Raw Vegan Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding And then for Scott’s dessert, and he requests this combo all the time, I know a little out there but hey, he likes it.. My Raw Vegan Chocolate Coconut Snowballs AND the Raw Vegan Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding, combined together. Spooning in the Raw Vegan Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding… …With the Raw Vegan Chocolate Coconut Snowball Mess Mixture For my dessert, I went with a Balls Trifecta (TWSS) On the left: there’s a Raw Vegan Sugar Cookie Dough Ball Center: a Raw Vegan Dark Chocolate Fudge Ball On the right: a Raw Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ball Only thing missing from the frame is a Raw Vegan Gingerbread Cookie Dough ball. Darn. So there you have it, those are my current four fave balls. I say current, because as a woman, it’s totally my prerogative to change my mind with absolutely no notice or warning. haha! Yes friends, I am going to be taking a holiday trip with my family. We normally “save up” our vacation time and do one big trip per year and we leave tonight. So, with that said, there will be lots of posts, some of them mine and some from some awesome guest posters!!! I’ll be reading everyone’s blogs, and your comments to me, and will try my best to leave as many comments as I can for all my bloggie friends, but I am going to set some personal computer-time and blog-time limits for myself because this is my chance to break away and unplug for awhile. My goal is more fresh air, less computer screen. More time with my family, less time uploading pics and typing. I think you get the drift. So questions of the day and something to think about as we wind down 2009: 1. Have you accomplished something monumentous that you can look back on and say HELL YEAH! I did something great, something that mattered, something I will remember in 5 or 10 years? What was it? For me it would be helping to shape and mold my daughter into a lovely, kind, compassionate person through consistent, kind, compassionate fulltime mothering and parenting. That matters. The fact that I ate Brussel’s Sprouts or that I am high raw really does not compare for me. 2. What are your New Year’s Intentions for 2010? Notice I did not say Resolutions. Resolutions can be broken. But no one can “break” your intentions. They are yours and yours alone. So what intentions do you plan to set? I intend to live more in the present, plan less, and not feel the need to justify my actions to the world. I did it, yep, so what. Who cares, I wanted to. No explanations warranted. That kind of thing. What are your intentions? Happy Holidays and I’ll talk with you in a few days!!!!!!!!!!!!
