It was St. Paddy’s Day last week, and I guess I had the luck of the Irish on my side because there was: Cheese galore Butter And an amazing cookbook. It’s a beautiful, hardcover, book with great photos and recipes inside. I was seriously blown away by the generosity of Kerrygold’s “prize pack”. They overnight, refrigerated shipped everything to me in California. I have won a fair number of give aways over the past couple years blogging and have hosted at least 75 give aways for my readers on my own site, and this give away was definitely top shelf....
Everyone seems to love sliders and they’re fast and easy to make. A win on every level! We did. Santa came. He made it all the way down from the North Pole down to the South Pole and found one good little girl’s here here in Aruba. Complete with overweight baggage fees from Delta Airlines. Art supplies and puzzles tend to weigh down the sleigh. Santa was able to source the rest of the loot locally, like a play beauty salon, play kitchen food, and Barbies....

It’s been two years that I’ve kept it to myself, but two years feels like forever. I wrote a second cookbook called Cooking With Pumpkin: Recipes That Go Beyond the Pie. About a month after I finished writing Peanut Butter Comfort in late 2012 I was contacted about writing a pumpkin recipes book.
