When you’re in need of a super fast, easy, and no-bake Easter treat, this chocolate Easter bark is just the thing!  It’s a mixture of milk or dark chocolate topped and swirled together with white chocolate before adding pastel M&M’s and sprinkles. Homemade chocolate bark is also perfect for the springtime in general. It’s so easy that even little kids can make it. How cute would it be to surprise mom or grandma with this homemade gift for Easter or Mother’s Day? Chocolate bark is the ultimate make-ahead dessert because it keeps for weeks!

Ingredients in Chocolate Easter Bark

For this ridiculously easy chocolate candy bark, you’ll need the following ingredients:

Milk or semi-sweet chocolate (I like Trader Joe’s Pound Plus Bars) White chocolate  M&M’s (any color)  Sprinkles

How to Make Easter Bark

To make this chocolate Easter bark you’re simply going to do the following:

What Else Can I Top My Chocolate Bark With?

The sky really is the limit when it comes to making chocolate bark in terms of topping variations! Here are some more topping ideas for this no-bake Easter treat:

You can use diced candy bars such as Snickers, Milky Way, Rolo candies, Skittles, or your favorites. To keep an Easter theme going, mini chocolate eggs would be cute and festive. If you like a salty-sweet treat lightly crushed mini pretzels are tasty or use a few generous pinches of a high quality sea salt.

What’s the Best Chocolate for Chocolate Bark?

Use good quality chocolate for best results. I like Trader Joe’s Milk Chocolate Pound Plus Bars for this purpose. Or if you prefer a darker and less sweet chocolate, the 72% Pound Plus Bars are a nice alternative. If you don’t have a Trader Joe’s in your area and don’t want to order online, you can always go with something like a Ghirardelli chocolate bar.  Additionally, you can use chocolate melting wafers which are specifically designed to melt. White chocolate is notoriously harder to melted than its darker cousins. For this reason, I highly recommend a white chocolate bar or white chocolate melting wafers.

Can Chocolate Chips Be Used for Chocolate Bark?

I strongly recommend a chocolate bar rather than chocolate chips since bars melt much smoother and easier than chips which have stabilizers that actually resist melting.

How to Store Chocolate Bark

It’s perfectly fine to store the Easter bark in an airtight container at room temperature for weeks. Chocolate keeps for a very long time! In hot climates, you may need to be kept in the fridge.
