Easy Crock Pot Cola Pork Chops Recipe
This is one of those recipes that you may be a little skeptical, but I promise it’s a winner! This is one of those recipes that’s been around forever (even if you’ve never heard of it) because it delivers super juicy and flavorful pork chops with almost no work. You whisk together a simple sauce and pork that over a half dozen pork chops in your slow cooker and then just truly set-it-and-forget-it. The sauce is a mixture of ketchup, brown sugar, onion and garlic powder, and the special ingredient is Coca Cola. You only use 2/3 of a standard can of Coke so it’s not all that much considering the recipe makes 6 chops. The Coke tenderizes the pork chops as they cook and as time passes during the slow cooking process, the liquid volume evaporates, and you’re left with a rich sauce that’s savory yet sweet. However, if you’re a person that does not like any sweetness with savory, this isn’t the pork chop recipe for you. Instead, make my Best Easy Grilled Pork Chops or French Onion Pork Chops.
