Easy Fall Cocktail Recipe
Apple cider is one of my favorite things about this time of year. And after trying this twist on the Moscow mule, I think you’ll agree that fall never tasted better. The apple cider mule is refreshing, zippy, and ginger and apples are such a perfect pairing. Serve your fall Moscow Mules in copper mugs if you have them. Otherwise a big glass will do!

How to Make an Apple Cider Moscow Mule
One of the reasons I think this is the best fall cocktail is because it’s so easy to make! Simply add ice to a glass (or a copper mug), then top it off with the hard apple cider and ginger beer. Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks.
What’s the Best Ginger Beer for a Moscow Mule?
I prefer using Fever Tree ginger beer in my Moscow Mules, as it has a strong but pure ginger flavor. It doesn’t taste fake at all and the flavor is just right.
What Hard Cider Should I Use?
I used Strongbow hard apple cider, but you may use any brand you’d like.
Tips for Making an Apple Cider Mule
I do not recommend making this fall cocktail in advance. The cider will lose its carbonation and the cocktail will taste flat. I used a non-alcoholic ginger beer in this cocktail recipe, otherwise the drink would have been pure alcohol. I prefer serving this apple Moscow Mule chilled over ice. It’s so refreshing that way!
