When I’m there I especially try to avoid the bulk bins or at least try to recreate bulk bin items at home. A sample of this and that and I could make a dinner out of bulk bin and hot bar samples. No shame. One thing that I don’t just sample and actually buy is the ‘PB & J Granola’. It’s very chewy, a little bit gooey, slightly crunchy, and highly addictive....

I’ll take peanut butter and jelly in any form. PB & J sandwiches are fine. But peanut butter muffins with strawberry jelly-filled centers definitely trump sandwiches. Apparently for the $69.99 I paid for the phone, they forgot to include both the Lithium Ion battery and the Charger in the sealed packaging. Not sure how that happens exactly, but I took it back to Best Buy and decided to scrap Cricket in exchange for Virgin Mobil’s prepaid phones and plans. This LG phone was $20 more through Virgin Mobile but is a much nicer phone. Camera, slideout Qwerty keyboard, and just feels less junky....

Do you know how to tell if the pineapple is ripe? Look near the base of the pineapple and it should be golden yellow. A green pineapple from base to tip is like a green banana. Not ripe. Here’s what I tackled and accomplished: Went to the post office to mail my taxes. They are done. And I got a small refund. Did laundry and changed the sheets on my bed. I hate changing sheets because I am a stickler for good, tight, hospital corners on my bed and it takes time to get them just right. But it’s one of those tasks that just has to get done frequently....
