Loaded Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars These bars are a mint twist on the classic Seven Layer Bars many grew up with, sometimes known as Hello Dolly Bars. This chocolate and mint version is made with Ghirardelli mint chocolates, Andes Mints, and Mint Oreos on a chocolate chip cookie base. Additionally, there are white chocolate chips, chocolate chunks, and a layer of sweetened condensed milk that caramelizes as it bakes for a true magic bar experience....

I have a weakness for maraschino cherries. Whether they’re floating in a drink or nestled in cookies, I just want to pick them out and devour. Their candy-like sweetness, their shockingly bright color, and the fact they’ll stain your fingertips or clothes if you get cherry juice on them, and I’ve spilled a few drinks and have the stains to prove it, strangely lend to their appeal. They also have a tendency to get stuck between my teeth like a piece of lettuce....

At 4:15pm yesterday, there was still no delivery. At 5pm I finally was told that the driver’s truck broke down and they were able to get 60 of the 62 deliveries out for the day but I was 1 of 2 deliveries that wasn’t going to happen. What? WTF?! The day of our move from Arizona to San Diego, the moving company’s truck broke down on the way to our house and at the 11th hour, I had to find a replacement moving company to complete our interstate move....

And then I wanted to top the whole thing with chocolate frosting. After pondering how I was going to do this, it finally came to me… This recipe combines the peanut butter, brown sugar, and vanilla “sauce” I use in my Special K Bars… That’s the “sauce”: Peanut Butter + Brown Sugar + Karo Syrup + Vanilla= heaven …And just takes it one step further: adding a pound of Nutter Butter peanut butter cookies....

It’s simple, seriously yummy (who knew sweet potato sauce could make a certain food blogger lick the inside of the blender while happy-jigging around the tiny kitchen?), and comfort food-esque while also being healthy because somma that ZUCCHINI up in there. I’ll just go ahead and call myself out on posting two zucchini recipes in a row this week....

Hoard those BB & B coupons like gold and redeem them despite the printed expiration date. Most stores will allow you to cash them in but it is up to the store’s discretion. At probably over 20 BB & B stores in about 10 states, I’ve never been denied....

Easy Pumpkin Swirl Cheesecake Bars This fall I plan on making these easy pumpkin cheesecake bars on repeat. No water bath, no elaborate chilling process, just a whisk-together creamy cheesecake filling swirled with pumpkin and baked! The buttery graham cracker crust is even packed with fall flavor! Instead of regular graham crackers, I used cinnamon graham crackers to really amp up the spice level in these pumpkin cheesecake bars. The beautiful marbled filling looks fancy, but really it’s just cheesecake filling swirled with a pumpkin mixture....

They sent me three different flavors to sample. I liked the Tropical Blend best, but they were all good. There was no funky aftertaste and it did not taste “chemically” to me.
